Traffic is queuing on the Thanet Way between Herne Bay and Whitstable following a lane closure.

Police are at the scene outside the old Share and Coulter pub to assist with a broken down vehicle.

Officers have closed a lane on the London-bound carriageway - sparking tailbacks for those on the A299 heading up from Herne Bay.

Police were alerted to the broken down vehicle just after 10am and they remain at the scene.
