A woman had to be cut free from her car after a crash this afternoon.

Her vehicle had been in collision with another car at Wrentham Avenue in Herne Bay at about 1pm.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof after the injured woman was trapped.

The woman was placed on a spinal board and taken to an ambulance.
