DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a 14-year-old German boy was racially abused and pushed into a fence by two women.

The boy was playing football with six other students when they were approached by the women.

When he was pushed he received a graze to his stomach but did not require hospital treatment.

The incident occurred in the Memorial Park in Kings Road, Herne Bay, at about 6.45pm on Friday, June 1.
