Man accused of attempted murder in Herne Bay after bar incident
On July 27 last year, a car was driven into the doors of the bar after a fight reportedly broke out at the venue.
Following the incident, a police spokesman said officers had received a report that a man had been attacked and had suffered facial injuries during a disturbance at the premises.
Shortly afterwards, a vehicle is said to have ploughed into the premises' gates and a parked car.
KentOnline obtained images showing the damage the following morning.
The venue's wooden gates, which front onto Beach Street, were smashed and a damaged Vauxhall Astra was also photographed at the scene.
McMahan, of Aspen Road in Herne Bay, is charged with attempting to murder Janusz Kobyra.
He is also accused of causing GBH with intent to the same person, dangerous driving, and causing £1,000 of damage to the venue's gates.
He appeared before Margate magistrates last week, and the case was sent to Maidstone Crown Court.
McMahan has been released on bail until the next hearing takes place on October 10.
