A self-confessed bingo addict had lady luck on her side when she scooped a cool £20,000 while playing in Herne Bay.
Great-grandmother Heather Taylor, 72, has been a regular visitor to the Connaught Bingo Club on the seafront for the past 15 years, alongside her husband Eric.
She bagged the big win while taking part in a national game on a machine inside - and was presented with the cheque yesterday.
Mrs Taylor says her good fortune was perfectly timed, as she will be celebrating her ruby wedding on May 10.
She said: “When it happened I couldn’t believe it. It was as though I didn’t even know my own numbers because I was so gobsmacked It happened so quickly.
"I put my pound coin into the machine for the national game, and every number just kept coming up.
“I couldn’t believe they were my numbers I had pressed. Everyone was clapping and cheering.

"It was a nice reception from everyone there. I felt over the moon and still can’t believe it now. To be honest, when I was on my way home I had spent the money 10 times over in my head.”
Mrs Taylor, from Sheerness, is now preparing for a big celebration party and will renew her wedding vows with Eric next month.
She also hopes to sort out her garden and then visit her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Dubai.
She said: “I’m a real bingo addict. I’ve been playing for more than 50 years and I love it. I suppose Eric is not as keen as I am, but he comes along and was very pleased he came with me on Friday!
“We like to go to the smaller clubs as they are more fun.
“We’ve been going to Herne Bay because we like the seafront there and it’s nice to go and make a day of it. It’s a bit of a trek, but the Connaught is a really friendly club.”
Connaught’s assistant manager, Trevor Scandrett, confirmed Mrs Taylor won £20,585 while playing.
He said: “The place exploded when she won. She is a really lovely lady and we often see her here.”
