A crash involving two vehicles on a dual carriageway saw a car leave the road and land in a field.

Police and ambulance crews were dealing with the incident on A299 Thanet Way near Herne Bay this afternoon.

The crash happened on the London-bound carriageway just after 11am close to the town’s Sainsbury’s.

One of the vehicles was recovered from a field next to the carriageway.
