Deliveroo is set to launch in another Kent town next month due to "huge demand".
The hugely popular food delivery company will begin operating in Herne Bay - where riders will courier food from restaurants, takeaways and grocery stores, to residents' doorsteps.
Deliveroo is among the delivery service firms to have seen a huge soar in demand in the last year, as the pandemic saw eateries closed for months on end and people relying increasingly upon food delivery.
The company now works with 50,000 delivery riders across the UK.
Harrison Foster, the firm's UK regional director, said: “We’ve seen a huge demand for Deliveroo in Herne Bay and we’re excited to be launching next month.
"We’re really excited to be creating new work opportunities for local people.
“The team is looking for people with passion, drive and who want to deliver great customer service, who are seeking the added benefit of flexible work, amongst other perks. Anyone who's interested should head over to our website to sign up.”
Deliveroo is now recruiting riders to help deliver food.
The firm is also urging restaurants, takeaways and grocery retailers in Herne Bay to apply to become a Deliveroo partner.
