A pensioner who went missing without his medication has been found safe.

Michael Browne disappeared from his residential home in Beacon Hill, Herne Bay at 8.45am on Wednesday.

Police launched an appeal to find him, saying they were increasingly concerned about his welfare as he urgently needed medication.

They have now confirmed he has been found safe and well in London.
