Two Indian takeaways and a caterer have been named among the best in the country in the latest national awards .

Masala Bay in Herne Bay and Bombay Express in Canterbury are among the nominees for at the English Curry Awards.

Meanwhile, The Indian Dish based in West Malling has been shortlisted for the 'Caterer of the Year' category.

The English Curry Awards celebrate the best restaurants and takeaways across the country.

The awards ceremony is set to take place on August 14 at the Holiday Inn in Birmingham city centre.

This comes after the Masala Bay was crowned England’s best at the Nation's Curry Awards in February.

The popular curry house is no stranger to plaudits having won best takeaway in the south east at the British Curry Awards in 2021 and 2022.
