A MEETING of mums takes place in Herne Bay this Friday, September 26, with the aim of fostering friendship among mothers.

Women with children are welcome to the Bandstand between 10am and 11.30am with or without their child.

The social networking group is known as Netmums and the chair-mum of the Herne Bay branch is Sarah Hammond, pictured.

She moved back to Herne Bay with her husband and two children in March having lived abroad for seven years.

“I know from experience that the best source of advice and support comes from other mums,” says Sarah. “The event is informal and friendly."

The first Netmum Meet-up in Herne Bay takes place between 10am and 11.30am in the Bandstand in Central Parade.
