Shooter Nathan Milgate is celebrating his first call up in the Great Britain squad for the Paralympics in Beijing .

The 21-year-old from Herne Bay said: "It’s a great honour to be selected, and it will be a whole new experience for me.

"The training over the next few months will be very hectic with camps for the whole squad, but it will be good preparation.

"It will put me in good stead for performing at my best, and hopefully be in the running for a medal."

The shooting events at the Games take place at the Beijing Range Hall from September 7 to 12.
