The Thanet Way has reopened after multiple crashes caused lengthy delays this morning.

Two cars were involved in a crash on the London-bound A299 carriageway between the St Nicholas At Wade Roundabout and the Brook Lane, Marshside turn-off.

There was also another incident on the coastbound carriageway in the same place.

Police, who went to the scene, warned of icy roads.
