Police say there is no truth to speculation two men were arrested for pleasuring themselves outside a primary school.

Rumours that the pair had been caught committing lewd sex acts near Hampton primary have been circulated widely on social media.

But police say they have no record of any arrests in the area yesterday morning.

The school says it is aware if of the speculation but has received no reports of any such incidents.

It said on Facebook: "Hampton was not made aware of incidents of this nature from the police or local authority.

"Please be assured parents would be informed if this was the case."

The men were said to have been in their cars outside the school gates in Fitzgerald Avenue.
