Residents have had to have an emergency supply of water delivered after two pipes burst in one day.
Some people in Reculver Road, Herne Bay, have been without running water for more than 24 hours after the first incident at around 2pm yesterday.
South East Water managed to fix the problem, before a second pipe burst around 200 yards away at 10.30pm last night.
In a message to customers, it said: "We're really sorry again to those of you who are again experiencing low water pressure or no water at the moment.
"We repaired a burst main yesterday and unfortunately there has been another burst main in the area this morning which we are trying to fix as quickly as we can.
"To carry out this work both safely and efficiently, we have put several special procedures in place not only to protect our key workforce but you too, so if our technicians at work, please keep the social distancing rules.
"We can't say yet just how long this will take place but please rest assured we're doing everything we can to get you back up and running as soon as possible."
Crowds of people, who have been without water, were pictured collecting the emergency delivery earlier today.
Incident manager for South East Water Jim Macintyre said: “We're sorry to customers in Herne Bay who may be experiencing low pressure or no water caused by a number of bursts throughout the night and this morning.
“Three of the bursts have now been repaired and we are on site assessing a potential fourth leak.
“We really appreciate customers' patience after an interruption to supply yesterday and we are working as quickly and safely as possible to return water supplies.
“Bottled water is being delivered to the area while we complete the repairs and restore water back to the area as quickly as possible.
