Two football players injured after a serious clash of heads yesterday have been given the all-clear.
Officials were forced to abandon the match between Herne Bay and Ramsgate following the accident involving Bay's Lee Browning and Ramsgate's Nick Treadwell.
The pair were both taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford - Treadwell by land and Browning via air ambulance - but they were given the all-clear last night.
The match was able to continue after the incident in the first half, but half-time was extended to allow for treatment.
It was then called off with the score at 1-0 to Bay so the air ambulance could land.
Herne Bay announced via Twitter that Browning had been given the thumbs up after having a scan, while Ramsgate also put on social media that Treadwell was going to be released from hospital last night.
The game has been rearranged for Tuesday, April 5 at Winch's Field at 7.45pm.
Fans can pay what they want on the gate with all proceeds going to the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust.
