Police cordoned off Canterbury Road in Herne after a car overturned and struck two other vehicles.

The accident happened between Bullockstone Road and Herne Common at 11pm last night (Thursday).

Police spokesman Richard Allen said: “This was a collision where the car overturned and subsequently struck another couple of vehicles.

“The road was blocked, so we had to close it to allow for the vehicle to be recovered. The road reopened at about 12.15am on Friday morning. There are no reports of any injuries.”
