A teenager who disappeared from Herne Bay almost three weeks ago has been found safe and well.

Concerns were raised after Jamie Charles, 16, was reported missing from her home on March 1.

Officers spoke to her on March 9, but were unable to make contact with her again, prompting fears for her welfare.

But today Kent Police confirmed she had returned home, and issued a statement thanking the public for their help.
