An investigation has been launched after cash, Prada sunglasses and three bottles of booze were stolen from cars in Herne Bay over the space of one day.
Police received three reports of theft in Ivanhoe Road and Downs Park on Monday, September 3, and Tuesday, September 4.
They are investigating whether they might be linked and have urged drivers to remove valuables from their cars.
Sgt Lee Thompson said: "Any items left in a car can be attractive to thieves who tend to be opportunistic.
"It is so important to check your car is locked when you leave it, and ensure any items of value, even loose change, has been removed.
"Don’t give thieves the chance to go window-shopping by leaving things on display in your cars."
Money was stolen from a car in Downs Park overnight either late on Monday, September 3, or early the following morning.
Between midnight and 4.15pm on Tuesday, September 4, several items including Prada and Tiffany sunglasses, cash, an iPad, iPod, chargers and three bottles of alcohol were taken from a vehicle in Ivanhoe Road.
A pair of sunglasses and keys were stolen from another parked car in Downs Park sometime between 8pm on Monday, September 3, and 6.30am the next day.
