Three men have been arrested after a man was stabbed following a crash which left a car on its roof.
Police were called to Stanley Road, Herne Bay, after a two-car collision near a primary school.
A spokeswoman for the force said today: "An altercation then took place between two men from one of the cars and three people who had been in the other vehicle.
"During the altercation, one of the men received injuries consistent with a stab wound for which he received treatment at a London hospital."
She said three men aged 25, 24, and 22 have been arrested on suspicion of assault.
The suspects have all been bailed pending further enquiries.
The investigation is ongoing. The incident happened at 7.05am on May 3 in the residential street which has a children's nursery and Herne Bay Primary School in it.
The road links King's Road and Underwood Road and is also close to the town's police station.
It is believed a resident - who was woken by the crash outside their home - helped the injured man until ambulances arrived.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
