A driver was freed from their car using 'jaws of life' cutting equipment following a crash near Herne Bay.

Fire and ambulance crews were called to the single-vehicle crash in Busheyfields Road at 10.50pm last night.

They used cutters and spreaders to remove the door of the car to free the casualty, who was then passed into the care of paramedics.

Crews left the road at 11.30pm.
