Herne Bay bay burglary as £2,000 bike is stolen

A bike worth more than £2,000 has been stolen during a burglary.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the bicycle was stolen from a house in Beacon Hill in Herne Bay.

The Vitus Escarpe bike, which was stolen at some time between Thursday evening and Friday morning, is red and grey. This brand of mountain bike costs £2,299,99 brand new.

An investigation is ongoing and anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area, or has seen or been offered the bike for sale, is urged to contact detectives.
