A pair of cold-callers claiming to work for the NHS are attempting to break into properties in a seaside town.
Public Protection Kent has issued a warning after the suit-wearing criminals were spotted operating in Herne Bay.
The body - which is run by the county council - says one of the wrongdoers tries to gain entry to the rear of properties, while the other takes residents' temperatures and offers coronavirus testing kits.
Public Protection Kent tweeted: "Two criminals in suits, claiming to work for the NHS, are active in the Herne Bay area.
"They say they are offering coronavirus testing kits and taking temperatures.
"While one is talking, the other is gaining entry to the rear of the property. Do not let them in! Call 101 to report."
Police have been approached for comment.
