CHIVERS: Fearless No 9 for both England and Spurs

FORMER England and Tottenham striker Martin Chivers is to bring a squad of former Spurs legends to Herne Bay Football Club as part of the Winch’s Field 50th anniversary celebrations.

The Spurs team will take on a squad of Herne Bay All Stars at Winch’s on Sunday, October 12. The kick off will be at 4pm.

The Bay team will be managed by former first team skipper Neil Brown while it is hoped a host of familiar names from Tottenham’s past will be included in the Spurs Legends XI.

Tickets cost £5 and the club will run a barbecue before and during the game.
