Isthmian League round-up: Gil Carvalho’s injury-time strike salvages point for Herne Bay at Erith & Belvedere

All the drama came at the death as Herne Bay drew at Erith & Belvedere in Isthmian South East.

Fifth-placed Bay looked set to leave empty-handed after Cameron Andrews gave the relegation-threatened Deres an 88th-minute lead at Park View Road.

But Bay kept plugging away and Gil Carvalho salvaged a 1-1 draw in the fourth minute of added time.

Improving Ashford came from a goal down at half-time to beat Horndean.

Freddie Chester struck just before half-hour mark as the visitors went in front.

Anthony Cook struck on the hour as Cray Wanderers beat Kingstonian 1-0, while Folkestone’s home game against Concord was postponed.
