It appears someone in Hythe still has a sense of humour over the Hythe Green plans.

Missing posters have started springing up around Hythe after councillors agreed to enter talks with Shepway District Council for a new leisure centre.

Town councillors last month voted to back the proposals for the centre on the historic land.

Opponents say the land should never be built on though in recognition of a protective covenant dating back to 1862.

And the latest tongue-in-cheek dig at councillors accuses them for letting the land be stolen from residents.
