The discovery of an Albanian national on a beach this morning triggered a huge search operation.

The person was found on a beach at Seabrook, near Hythe.

Police helped Border Force officials and coastguard crews following the sighting shortly after 6am.

A Coastguard helicopter also joined the search.

Police are now investigating the incident.

Yesterday, it was reported 20 migrants were stopped at sea by British border patrols and taken to Dover.

Border Force was alerted to two separate small boats and each had 10 men inside.
