Kent Police find and destroy drugs factory near Hythe holding more than £1 million worth of cannabis

Kent Police have destroyed a drugs factory in Kent, which is believed to contain more than £1 million worth of cannabis.
The Folkestone Community Policing Team found the factory containing an estimated 3000 plants in Hythe.
Kent Police Shepway posted the images on their Twitter account today.
Officers from the Community Policing Team and Divisional Support Unit executed a warrant at an industrial unit in Hythe on Thursday morning (27 October).
Police also found lighting and cultivation equipment.
A 59-year-old man from Margate was arrested later that day on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug.
He has been released on police bail until 19 January 2017.
Enquiries are ongoing, including confirming the value of the plants seized.
