unique event.

The Hythe Venetian Fete is a tableaux of decorated floats in various themes,

historical and topical held on the Royal Military Canal. There are two

processions of up to 40 floats, first in dayllight, and then again after dark when

illuminated. At dusk between the two parades there is a grand firework

display. There are also entertainments and food and drink stalls plus free

band concerts on the canal bank on August 16, 17, 18 and 19.
