Christopher Hatcher due in court after alleged sex assault at Royal Military Canal in Hythe in June

A man is due in court today charged with a sex attack in Hythe.

It comes after a woman in her 20s was allegedly assaulted as she walked along a path near the Royal Military Canal in June.

Christopher Hatcher, 30, from Dymchurch Road is accused of several offences including sexual assault, kidnap and false imprisonment.
