Hythe crash: Man seriously injured after getting off bus and being hit by car

A man suffered serious injuries when he was hit by a car after getting off a bus.
Police are now investigating and appealing for witnesses to the incident in Hythe last night.
The victim, a man in his 60s, got off a bus in Dymchurch Road before being knocked down by a black Vauxhall Corsa.
The car was heading towards Hythe when the incident happened near the junction with Burmarsh Road close to the Prince of Wales pub.
The driver was not arrested and did stop after the incident at 6.55pm yesterday.
The man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "A pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle in Dymchurch Road, Hythe.
"The pedestrian, a man aged in his 60s, was assessed and treated at the scene for injuries including leg injuries before being taken as a priority patient to William Harvey Hospital."
