A boyband star with 16 Number one singles enjoyed the “perfect getaway” at Kent animal park
Westlife star Mark Feehily was at Port Lympne near Hythe earlier this week with his fiance, Cailean O'Neill, and their daughter, Layla.
The band member, known for hits such as World of our Own and Flying Without Wings, said the trip was a “post-tour getaway”.
Sharing a reel on Instagram of his time at the Lion Lodge, which costs £1,099 a night to stay in, Mark thanked staff at the animal park.
“What a perfect little post-tour getaway thanks to the wonderful staff in Port Lympne we had the best and most relaxing festive time,” he captioned the post.
In the video, Mark is seen wearing a festive onesie and standing next to a pair of lions who are separated by just a pane of glass.
Several times, lions come up to the window and yawn, showing off their huge teeth.
The family made their way around the park via golf buggy and were all wearing matching Christmas jumpers. They also got to feed a giraffe before enjoying a glass of bubbles in front of the fire back at the lodge.
Port Lympne commented on Mark’s post and said: “Thank you for visiting us, we are so pleased you had a fabulous time.
“You and your family were an absolute joy. We hope to see you again soon.”
This is not the first time celebs have raved about staying at this accommodation.
Amanda Holden enjoyed a trip in October with her family, the Britain’s Got Talent Judge calling the park the “best experience ever”.
The Only Way is Essex stars including Gemma Collins, Amy Childs, Billie Shepherd and Samantha Faiers, have all visited Port Lympne and raved about it, as well as former Little Miz member, Jesy Nelson.
