Police have been called after a driver lost control on ice and skidded into the front of the house.

Officers were called to a report of a car in a collision with a house at 7.14am this morning in Portland Road, in Hythe.

The accident caused some damage to the front of the property.

No injuries have been reported.

The road has been partially closed while structural engineers attend the scene and vehicle recovery work is ongoing.
