A teenager whose disappearance sparked a police search involving a helicopter and dogs has been found at a neighbour's house.

Wayne Edwards, 19, went missing from his home in Hythe on Sunday afternoon, with fears for his welfare growing as a search for him proved fruitless.

But police revealed late last night that he had been found.

A spokesman said: "Wayne has now been found safe and well at a neighbour's house."
