Homes had to be evacuated after a lorry almost reversed off a hill in Hythe.
Emergency services were called after the vehicle was left in an unsafe position on the edge of Cliff Road.
Fire services attended the scene alongside Kent Police on Tuesday afternoon, in a joint operation to bring the lorry back from the edge.
Police confirmed they were called and had to evacuate properties down the hill from the private road, with the lorry in danger of going over.
Two fire engines and a Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) technical rescue team helped make the scene safe while the vehicle was recovered.
Overall, the rescue operation took around four hours from 3.40pm to 7.35pm.
Thankfully, no casualties were reported as a result.

A KFRS spokeswoman said: "KFRS was sent to the scene of a reversed lorry in an unsafe position on the edge of Cliff Road in Hythe, at around 3.39pm.
"Two fire engines and KFRS’ technical rescue team attended the incident.
"Crews helped make the scene safe while the vehicle was recovered.
"Kent Police helped to temporarily evacuate some nearby properties while the emergency services dealt at the incident. No casualties were reported."
