A main road was closed for more than two hours following a two-vehicle crash.

It happened on the A259 Dymchurch Road at Hythe shortly before 12.30pm today.

Kent police said the road was closed from the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway line at Botolphs Bridge Road and reopened at 2.50pm.

Paramedics attended the incident but the crash was not thought to have caused major injuries.
