A man was found dead at a country park.
Police and ambulance crews were called to Brockhill Country Park, off Sandling Road, in Hythe at 8am.
They were called to the scene following reports a man had been found dead in the park.
It is understood police, ambulance, and fire crews descended on the open space, which was shut to the public as a result.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman for police said: "Kent Police was called at around 8am to reports a man had been found dead in a park in Sandling Road, Hythe.
"Officers attended the scene and the death is not currently being treated as suspicious.
"The man’s next of kin is aware and a report will be prepared for the coroner."
Rich Airey, for the ambulance service, said: "I can confirm we were alerted to this incident shortly before 8am today.
"Ambulance crews attended but sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene."
A spokeswoman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service added: "KFRS was called at 8.10am today to assist Kent Police."
The incident is not linked to nearby Brockhill Park Performing Arts College, a spokesman for the school confirmed.
The park has now re-opened.
A spokesman for Kent County Council, which runs the park, said: "We are unable to give any information about the police incident, but I can confirm that the park reopened shortly after 10am this morning."
