A motorcyclist was injured in a collision on the road leading to a service station.

Fire crews, police and an ambulance were called to the Stop24 service station near Hythe at around 3.30pm today.

Firefighters poured sand over the spilled petrol from the collision, which involved a white BMW and two motorbikes.

It is not thought that the motorcyclist's injuries were serious.
