Emergency services flocked to a main road after a pedestrian was hit by a car outside a supermarket.
The collision happened just after 4pm close to Waitrose on the A259, Prospect Road in Hythe.
Ambulance crews and police were called to the scene and there was heavy traffic in both directions following the incident.
But it is understood nobody has been seriously injured.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at around 4.05pm on Thursday, June 15 following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Prospect Road, Hythe.
“Officers are currently in attendance along with South East Coast Ambulance Service.”
An ambulance service spokesman confirmed the incident and crews were giving treatment.
