Pirates, bees and Peter Pan all graced the water for Hythe's Venetian Fete.
More than 10,000 people lined the Royal Military Canal to watch the 35 decorated tableau floating along it on Wednesday night.
The spectacle through the middle of the town is held every two years.

Groups from across the community dressed up to entertain the crowds which included the Mayor of Hythe, Cllr Michael Lyons, MP Damian Collins and fellow guests.
Chairman of the judges Steve Way said: "The judges were very impressed with the enthusiasm, effort and endeavour that was evident in all entrants, as always judging is a difficult task.
"We know that for some the pleasure is the taking part and for others obtaining a place is important. Every float was worthy of its entry.
"The standard this year was very good which made our task even more challenging."
Several floats deserved mentions despite missing out on prize including The Dymchurch Players and Hythe Tennis Club, Mr Way said.
He added: "We were in no way swayed by passing offers of cake, sweets and jam tarts!"
