A busy route is blocked after a crash at rush hour this morning.

Police are currently at the scene on the B2068 Stone Street in Stanford near Hythe.

Two cars were involved in the collision, and work it underway to clear the scene.

A police spokesman said: “We were called at 8.25am to a report of a collision involving two vehicles on Stone Street close to the junction with Pilgrim’s Way, Stanford.

“Officers are currently at the scene and are working to clear the road and recover the vehicles.”
