Three-car crash causes traffic jams on A261 London Road in Hythe

A three-car rush-hour crash has caused jams on a key commuter route.

The collision has the A261 London Road partially blocked between Sellinge and Hythe.

It happened near Turnpike Hill, with congestion also reported on Dymchurch Road.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police were called at 3.55pm on Monday, August 9, following a collision involving three vehicles on London Road, Hythe.

"Officers attended to manage the traffic and the road was clear by around 6.10pm. No serious injuries were reported."
