Trapped driver freed by firefighters after crash at Stanford near Hythe

Firefighters cut free a driver after a two-car crash yesterday.

It happened on the B2068 at Stanford Road, Stanford near Junction 11 of he M20.

Two fire engines were called out at 6.45pm and found one of the drivers injured and trapped.

They used hydraulic cutting gear to free the victim, who was then placed into the care of paramedics. Crews then made the scene safe.

The firefighters left the scene near Hythe just before 7.40pm.
