Two people have been injured following a crash on a busy road.
The A259 Dymchurch road is still closed following the incident near Hythe at 11.10am.
One casualty had to be cut out of their car by fire services as emergency crews descended on the scene near Aldi following the collision between a truck and a car.
A man and a woman were treated at the scene before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital.
Diversions are still in place following the incident, including by West Hythe Hill which is experiencing heavy traffic as a result.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "We were called to a report of an RTC on the A259 near Hythe at just before 11.10am.
"Ambulance crews and the Hazardous Area Response Team attended the scene, and the air ambulance crew were also called.
"A man and a woman were treated at the scene before being taken by road to a local hospital."
Police have been contacted for comment.
