Motorist and dog walker suffer facial injuries in street fight in Twiss Road, Hythe

A motorist and dog walker were hurt in a street fight.

The two men received facial injuries and police are investigating.

It happened at Twiss Road, Hythe, at around 7.30pm on the August Bank Holiday Monday.

It was reported that one of the men was driving, got out of his car and became involved in an altercation with the second man, who had been walking his dog.

Investigating officer PC James Cattermole said: "We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the incident.

"We understand members of the public might have intervened during the altercation and we would ask those people to contact us as they may have information which could assist our enquiries."
