Thousands of visitors were treated to a range of entertainment at the biannual Venetian Fete in Hythe this week.
Onlookers watched as 30 teams showed off their floats by daylight and by night, either side of a fireworks display.
There was also music before and during the event at the Royal Military Canal, which was officially opened by the Mayor of Hythe, Cllr Doug Wade.
The competition for individual float awards saw The Shed run away with three separate titles.
The social and community education service's spectacular skull-based float came first in their group, as well as winning best illuminated float.
Their performance in both the day and night-time parades saw them win the overall title of best tableau on parade, giving them the treble.
The award for best daylight tableau was won by the Hythe Twinning Association, while the award for best dressed rowers went to the 1st Saltwood Scouts.
The team who really cleaned up, however, was the Folkestone Rowing Club, whose no-plastic efforts saw them scoop the environmental award.
Elizabeth Quinn, spokeswoman for the fete, said: "It was fantastic, it was really well enjoyed. I'm so grateful to all of our sponsors, as well as all of the competitors who did fantastically well."
"Moreover, the fete can only happen due to the assistance from all the enthusiastic volunteers who give up their time to help with the pre-fete concerts and on the fete day itself.
"Our organising group are going to take a few months off from planning to relax and reflect on the day, then we'll be back to it next year!"
