Hythe are close to making their first new signing of the summer – although one of their key players is considering a move away from Reachfields.
Cannons boss Tim Dixon met with a transfer target on Tuesday night and is hopeful a deal can be agreed within the next few days.

Dixon said: "A couple of clubs are still sniffing around players in my squad and that puts doubt in their minds. I’m waiting for a couple of answers.
"In terms of signings, I’ve got three players on the back-burner. They’re making decisions and two of them are exciting.
"I’m excited about a couple of trialists, a couple of players who have played at this standard before. They lost their way a little bit but I want to have a look at them in pre-season.
"Everyone needs a boost and certain things stop players from playing so a couple are coming in for that reason – as well as a couple of youngsters."
