Hythe boss Steve Watt has secured help for leading scorer Johan Caney-Bryan with his double signing in attack.
Watt used spare money in his budget to bring Duane Acheampong and Jeff Duah-Kessie to Reachfields as the Cannons look to stay in Isthmian South East play-off contention.
Acheampong, who recently left Sittingbourne, counts Dartford, Woking and Torquay among his previous clubs and still has plenty to offer.
Duah-Kessie, meanwhile, joins the Cannons after leaving Beckenham.
Caney-Bryan has scored 14 goals but can’t be expected to do it all on his own.
“It’s an area we’ve been short in all year,” said Watt.
“Johan’s been brilliant for us, not just with his goal return, but he’s had little support in terms of a natural No.9, so he’s had to carry the burden all season, really.
"He’s embraced that and been outstanding, without always being fully fit.
"He’s been playing with a niggle for a while now and it was important to get him some support and we’ve managed to do that. It’s great to being Duane and Jeff to the club.
"They’re a little rusty because they’ve not played in a number of weeks but we’ll see the benefits when they get up to speed, which won’t take long.
"The timing has worked out well with both.
"I’d been speaking to Duane and I got wind of Jeff late last week and jumped on it quickly.
"I spoke to him when he left Burgess Hill originally but couldn’t agree a deal then.
“We’re in a stronger league position now and that must have appealed.”
Hythe - who suffered a first defeat in eight games when they were edged 3-2 at East Grinstead on Tuesday - have also added to their midfield options.
They’ve signed former Gills youth player Charles Noyelle - known as Buzz - who’s back in the UK after studying in America.
“I’ve known Buzz for a while,” said Watt. “He was at Pro Soccer (where Watt coaches) before he went to Gillingham, so that’s the connection.
"He’s back in the country and was looking for a club. We’re happy to have him in there. He gives us another option and is technically good.”
Hythe are 10th, five points off the play-offs going into their home game against Chichester on Saturday.
The East Grinstead result didn’t help their cause but there’s still plenty to play for.
Watt said: “If we fall short, we fall short. There’s no pressure on us.
“We’re in a position where all we had to do this season was stay up to prove people wrong after starting as one of the favourites for relegation.
"We’re trying to go the extra mile but the only pressure comes from within as a group.
“We know what we want to achieve and we’ll turn up to each game and try to win in any way we can.”
