Hythe Town's Kent League title aspirations suffered a blow on Saturday as they were beaten by a spirited Greenwich Borough side who rode their luck to win 2-0 at Reachfields.
Although Hythe were guilty of some poor defending in the lead-up to both goals, scored by Sisson (23mins) and McCarry (43), the home side still hit the woodwork on three occasions and forced the Borough keeper into a series of fine saves.
Paul Fisk's men will now be eager to get back on track when they visit Tunbridge Wells tonight (Tuesday).
