Reachfields is the only place to be on Sunday when local rivals Hythe Town and Folkestone Invicta clash in a derby which carries huge significance.
Leaders Folkestone make the short trip in great form and they could take another big step towards the title with victory over their neighbours.
Hythe, meanwhile, need a result to keep their play-off hopes alive after suffering consecutive defeats in the week before Christmas.
Their manager Clive Cook has led a dramatic renaissance since succeeding Tim Dixon in September and he can’t wait to take charge in his first derby.
Cook said: "What a way to bounce back, what a great game, a local derby. It’s a massive game so let’s prove what we’ve got.
"We’re the complete underdogs. Folkestone will want to wipe the floor with us but I can get a massive reaction from my players.
"Let’s upset them. I know how to beat them but it’s down to whether the boys listen to the game plan.
"I’m looking forward to pitting my wits against Neil Cugley. The man’s a legend and I can’t speak highly enough of him. But the respect starts after the game – not before.
"We’re not going out there to show them any respect. We will do everything possible to win that game."
Cugley’s side have won their last five games without conceding a goal and that run has taken them 12 points clear at the top of Ryman League Division 1 South.
"I suppose it is ours to lose," said the Invicta boss. "We’ve got to lose games for other teams to catch us and we’re determined not to lose games.
"If we can get to 100 points it will be difficult for the other teams to catch us."
He added: "The chairman down there (at Hythe) has backed them. He’s given them some extra revenue and kicked it on.
"They’ve brought in some good players and it’s never the easiest place to go."
