Hythe crashed out of the FA Vase on Saturday at home to Egham.

It was a disappointing display by Town in difficult conditions allowing a 37th minute free kick from the impressive Billy Sentence to flash right through a crowded goalmouth into the far corner.

A wicked spinning bounce released Lee White for the second goal seconds from half-time and Egham had scored twice from their only two shots on target in the half.

It did not get any better for Hythe in the second half and their misery was complete on 52 minutes when Sentence's corner was headed home by Adam Faulser.
